Google review excerpts from Utah clients.

“Matt has been absolutely great to work with and was instrumental in helping me navigate a situation with a very difficult individual who refused to pay for their actions.”

Katie Mitchell, Google reviewer

“I have had so much stress trying to serve papers through a third party when I finally did my research and found Wasatch constables. Constable Jennings has far exceeded any expectations I had.”

Whitney Thomas, Google reviewer

“I used Wasatch Constables for a rush service and had a great experience. Katy was quick to respond to every email and kept me updated throughout the process.”

When free isn’t working

You shouldn’t have to wait on business hours for your own safety.

Sheriff’s civil units do good work and they do it free. They also work weekdays, go to the address you listed, and move on when nobody answers. The respondent knows this. They stop answering the door.

We’re a law enforcement office that treats a protective order like the urgent thing it is. Tell us their schedule. We’ll be there.

Scope

Protective orders, stalking injunctions, and child protective orders

Temporary and final protective orders (cohabitant, dating violence, sexual violence)
Civil stalking injunctions
Child protective orders
Modifications and dismissals

The difference

How we serve these differently

Sworn, uniformed deputies

Peace-officer training in de-escalation.

Weekends and evenings

We go when the respondent is home, not when the office is open.

Ambush service

You know their routine. We use it: work, court dates, the gym, a custody exchange.

Investigative skip tracing

When you don’t know where they’ve gone, we find them.

Personal service only, always

We never leave a protective order with someone else.

Return filed with the court

The order is enforceable the moment we walk away, and you’re notified immediately.

FAQs

Protective order questions

Doesn’t the sheriff serve these for free?

Yes. If the respondent is easy to find and answers the door on a weekday, use the sheriff. People come to us when that has already failed, when the respondent works odd hours, or when they need it served this weekend.

What if I don’t know where the respondent is?

Investigative skip tracing is what we do. Tell us what you know and we’ll find them.

Will the respondent learn where I live?

We don't disclose that information. The order itself controls what information is disclosed. We serve only what the court issued.

Can you serve it today?

Probably. Call 801-392-9400. If a deputy is available, yes.

Ready to get it served?

If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
