Why Provo cases come to us

We’re appointed nearby.

Utah County is one of our four daily routes, so a Provo address is never a special trip. Neither is Lehi, at the north end of the county.

We know the ground.

BYU neighborhoods, downtown Provo, the Riverwoods, and the fast-growing south end.

We know the court.

Returns are accepted at the Fourth District Court in Provo and every Utah state court. Add court filing for $20 and we walk it in. See every city we serve along the Wasatch Front.

Local tips

Serving papers near BYU and across Provo

Provo has a large student population, and student housing turns over quickly. Many leases end around April and start again in late August. If the recipient is a student, a recent address is worth more than an old one, so tell us when you last confirmed it. Basic skip tracing is included with every Standard order.

Student apartments often have several roommates in one unit. Give the full name and the bedroom or unit number if you know it. A roommate can’t accept papers for someone who doesn’t live there, and the detail helps us confirm we have the right person.

Downtown Provo and the Riverwoods area have many offices and medical practices. For a business, Serve a Business ($52) goes to the registered agent. For an individual who’s hard to catch at home, give us the workplace and hours.

Your server attempts service.

Your service level sets the attempt schedule and limit. Each attempt has a date, time, and GPS record. If the address is wrong, the office reviews the next step.

03

You receive a Return of Service.

You’ll receive the Return of Service by email. Confirm the filing arrangements for your case with the office.

Proof

See when and where service was attempted.

Every attempt is logged in an independent third-party system we do not own or host. The GPS coordinates, date, and time are captured automatically by the deputy’s device at the moment of the attempt — not typed in afterwards, and the GPS record cannot be edited, by us or by the deputy. Your Return of Service documents the result, and the underlying record is there to produce if service is ever questioned.
