Speed and timing
How fast can you serve papers?
Rush and Guaranteed target a same-day first attempt when accepted by noon Mountain Time on a weekday. Other levels have longer attempt windows. A first attempt does not guarantee completed service. Include your deadline and call 801-392-9400 if timing is critical. See the service terms for acceptance and scheduling conditions.
What’s the same-day cutoff?
12:00 p.m. Mountain Time, weekdays. After that, call us; if a deputy is available we’ll go.
Do you serve evenings and weekends?
Deputies serve when people are home, which is often evenings. There’s no extra charge. Weekend service depends on availability; call.

How much does process service cost?
$69 Standard, $95 Priority, $129 Rush, $249 Guaranteed. Evictions from $64. Order enforcement $199. The full list is on the pricing page.
Are there mileage or attempt fees?
No, not in Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, or Weber counties. Outlying counties carry one flat travel fee.
What if you can’t serve them?
You get a detailed return of non-service documenting every attempt. Courts require that record to grant alternative service, so the work isn’t wasted.

The person being served
What if they avoid service?
We document the signs: TV on, voices, a car that’s always there. That gives you a return of non-service for a motion for alternative service, or you can move up to Guaranteed and we stake them out at a time and place you choose.
What if they refuse to accept the papers?
For a summons and complaint under Utah Rule 4, refusal alone does not stop service if the server states the name of the process and offers to deliver a copy. The server must still satisfy the rule and document what happened. Share earlier attempt notes with your order.
What if I don’t know their address?
Basic skip tracing is included with every service level. We can escalate to Enhanced ($25 prepaid) or Investigative, which contacts family, neighbors, and associates. Recent movers and people without a fixed address take longer.
Can you serve someone at work?
Yes. Tell us where and when in your upload notes.
Can you serve a business?
Yes, through its registered agent, an officer, or a manager. We look up the agent first.

Options
What is “Personal Service Only”?
We serve the named person only, never a co-resident. $15.
What is “Adults Only (18+)”?
We never hand papers to a minor in the home. $10. Common in family cases.
What is “Sealed Envelope”?
Your documents travel sealed and addressed to the recipient. $5. Common in divorce and custody.
What is “Send Return to Court”?
We file the Return of Service with the court for you. $20.
What is “Enhanced Skip Trace”?
Deeper database work when you’re unsure of the address. $25 prepaid saves $20 versus ordering after a non-service.
What is “Check to Recipient”?
We deliver a check in the amount you set with the documents, most often a witness fee on a subpoena or a garnishee fee. Amount plus 5%.
What is “Notarized Return”?
A notarized Return of Service. $10.
What is “x2B”?
Our service for businesses: LLCs, corporations, partnerships, served through the registered agent, an officer, or a manager. $52.
What is “Alternate”?
Alternative Service. Once a court authorizes service by text, email, social media, mail, or posting, we carry it out exactly as ordered and return the proof. $45.

After service
What do I get when it’s done?
A Return of Service by email showing date, time, GPS location, method, and a description of the person served, signed under penalty of perjury by a sworn deputy.
Do I have to file the return?
Yes, unless you added court filing. Filing it is what lets your case move to the next step, including default judgment where available.
Will Utah courts accept your return?
Your Return of Service documents the result for your case. The court decides whether service met the applicable requirements. Upload any court-specific return form or instructions with your papers.
What’s the 200% guarantee?
The guarantee covers the accuracy of the Return of Service. It does not promise that service will succeed. Read the Terms of Service for the refund terms and how to report an error.

Uploading
What do I upload?
Everything the court issued and everything you want served together, as PDFs. Add any addresses or notes not on the documents.
Can I serve more than one person?
Yes. Additional recipients at the same address are $25 each. Different addresses are separate jobs.
How do I check status?
We run ServeManager. Log in to Serve Status and you’ll see every attempt as it happens — date, time, and outcome — and download your return when it’s done. Or email us and we’ll tell you where it stands.

Evictions and enforcement
Can I change the locks myself?
No. Only a constable or sheriff may enforce an Order of Restitution in Utah.
Will police enforce my judgment?
Generally no; civil orders are enforced by constables and sheriffs.
Can you serve protective orders?
Yes, under our Order Enforcement ($199), including evenings, weekends, and ambush service that sheriff’s offices don’t offer.
