  • 2

    Server at House

    3) We Serve Your Papers

We go to the best address and start knocking on doors. If we don't serve the paper on the first attempt, we ask neighbors for information. We'll get your docs served.

    4) File Your Return With The Court

We'll send you a Return of Service showing an exact date, time, and GPS-stamped location of your serve. File the Return with the Court and everything is done.

  • The Constable Advantage

    More than process servers
We have the legal authority to handle complex or high-risk serves that most others can't touch. When it comes to enforcing orders, private investigators just get to watch.

Your most frequently asked questions

Clarifying what should be simple
  • How long does it take to serve papers?

Our products (our Service Levels) are based primarily on the speed you want papers served. We have Service Levels promising same day service. Our base service, Standard, guarantees a first attempt within three business days.

  • What if the person being served avoids service?

If someone is actively avoiding service, we document the observations we make leading us to this conclusion. For example, if someone is home and the television is on or we can hear a conversation through the door and yet no one answers, the people inside are often avoiding. In that case, we can give you a return of non-service allowing you to move the court of alternative service, or you can choose a service level that includes ambushing a servee at a place and time of your choosing.

  • What happens if someone refuses to accept service?

People cannot “refuse” service. If someone refuses to physically take papers, we document the person’s physical description, date, time, and location, and consider the paper served. People have the right to notice, if they willfully refuse to be notified of a pending action, the burden of process service is still satisfied.

  • How much does process service cost?

Generally, our services start at $69 and go up to $249. Cost varies by service level and type of service required. When visiting our pricing page, you can browse all of our services and pick the right one for you.

  • What if I don’t know the served person’s address?

We can perform a simple database skip trace or, if necessary, we can perform an investigative skip trace which involves contacting family and known associates. The more ties someone has to their family and community, the faster we can find them. People who recently moved (under 30 days) or are homeless are much more difficult to find.
