Get your documents served in three easy steps

We want to make your process service as simple as possible.

Everything should be this easy
  • Choose Your Service Level & Upload

Determine the method for service, which largely depends on how fast you need someone served. If you have a deadline approaching or believe someone will avoid service, consider choosing a higher Service Level.

    • We guarantee time to first attempt and time to completion.
    • If we find a substitute address, we will reattempt service.
  • We Deliver Your Documents

We deliver your documents to the defendant. If the defendant cannot be found or is actively avoiding service, we will document that. We will then provide you with a Return of Service.

  • File Your Proof of Service

We create and send you with a Return of Service. You then file it with the court, confirming the time, date, and method of service. This will allow your case to continue and obtain a default judgment, if available.

    • Our Returns are accepted by all Utah Courts
    • We will refund 200% of your service fee for any inaccuracy.

    • You need someone with government authority.

    • You need fixed-rate upfront pricing.

    • You need fixed-rate upfront pricing.

    • You need detailed returns with time, date, and GPS stamps.

  • Other process servers

    • Only have access to credit headers.

    • Private investigators can watch, but they can't act.

    • Charge per mile or other miscellaneous fees.

    • Use "Independent Contractors."

    • You want a signed return with approximations.

Your documents are worth civil law enforcement

Constables are better

We use the police powers inherent with being a Utah constable to find your target and serve your papers.

  • The Constable Advantage

    More than process servers
We have the legal authority to handle complex or high-risk serves that most others can't touch. When it comes to enforcing orders, private investigators just get to watch.

Your most frequently asked questions

Clarifying what should be simple
  • How long does it take to serve papers?

Our products (our Service Levels) are based primarily on the speed you want papers served. We have Service Levels promising same day service. Our base service, Standard, guarantees a first attempt within three business days.

  • What if the person being served avoids service?

If someone is actively avoiding service, we document the observations we make leading us to this conclusion. For example, if someone is home and the television is on or we can hear a conversation through the door and yet no one answers, the people inside are often avoiding. In that case, we can give you a return of non-service allowing you to move the court of alternative service, or you can choose a service level that includes ambushing a servee at a place and time of your choosing.

  • What happens if someone refuses to accept service?

People cannot “refuse” service. If someone refuses to physically take papers, we document the person’s physical description, date, time, and location, and consider the paper served. People have the right to notice, if they willfully refuse to be notified of a pending action, the burden of process service is still satisfied.

  • How much does process service cost?

Generally, our services start at $69 and go up to $249. Cost varies by service level and type of service required. When visiting our pricing page, you can browse all of our services and pick the right one for you.

  • What if I don’t know the served person’s address?

We can perform a simple database skip trace or, if necessary, we can perform an investigative skip trace which involves contacting family and known associates. The more ties someone has to their family and community, the faster we can find them. People who recently moved (under 30 days) or are homeless are much more difficult to find.
